Skins

Winner takes all

Each hole is worth a "skin." The player with the lowest score on a hole wins the skin. If there's a tie, the skin carries over to the next hole, making it more valuable.

Pro Tip

Great for groups of 3-4 players. High-risk, high-reward format that keeps everyone engaged until the final hole.

How It Works

1

Lowest score on a hole wins the skin

2

Ties carry the skin to the next hole

3

Carryovers can stack multiple skins

4

Handicaps can be applied for fairness

Best Ball

Team format

Teams of 2+ players compete by using the best score among teammates on each hole. Perfect for mixing skill levels and encouraging team strategy.

Pro Tip

Ideal for couples golf or corporate outings. Lower pressure since your partner can save the hole.

How It Works

1

Each player plays their own ball

2

Best score among teammates counts

3

Great for 2v2 or larger team formats

4

Handicaps applied individually

Wheel Bet

1 team vs every combo

One static team plays against every possible 2-player combination from the other players. With 5 players, Team 1 faces 3 different pairings. More players = more matchups!

Pro Tip

The more players in the pool, the more action. A confident duo can take on all challengers!

How It Works

1

Team 1 (A & B) plays every combo

2

With 5 players: A&B vs C&D, C&E, D&E

3

With 6 players: even more combos

4

Settle each matchup at the 19th hole

Dogfight / Quota

Beat your target

Each player has a point quota based on their handicap. Earn points using Stableford scoring and try to exceed your personal target.

Pro Tip

Fair for all skill levels. A 20-handicapper and scratch golfer compete on equal footing.

How It Works

1

Quota = 36 minus handicap

2

Double bogey+ = 0 pts, Bogey = 1 pt

3

Par = 2 pts, Birdie = 4 pts, Eagle = 8 pts

4

Beat your quota to "win"

Multi Low Score

Team low-score format

Teams count the lowest N individual scores on each hole (N is set before play). Combine those low scores per hole to form the team total — lowest team total wins.

Pro Tip

Adjust N to suit group size and skill balance — e.g., 1 of 4 makes the game more competitive, 2 of 4 rewards consistency across teammates.

How It Works

1

Decide N (how many low scores count) before the round

2

Each player plays their own ball

3

On each hole, take the lowest N individual scores from the team

4

Add those scores to the team total for that hole
