Wheel Bet
1 team vs every combo
The Wheel Bet is a dynamic format designed for groups of 5 or more players. One "static" team (usually a confident duo) takes on every possible 2-player pairing from the remaining players. This creates multiple simultaneous matchups from a single round. With 5 players, Team 1 faces 3 different combos; with 6 players, the number of matchups grows even further. Each matchup is settled independently, so the static team could win some and lose others.

Rules & Scoring
Static Team Selection
Before the round, one team of 2 is designated as the "static" or "wheel" team. This team plays against every possible pairing from the remaining players.
Matchup Calculation
With 5 players (A, B, C, D, E), if A & B are the static team, they play against C&D, C&E, and D&E — that's 3 separate best-ball matches from one round.
Scoring Format
Each matchup uses Best Ball scoring. On every hole, the lower score from each pair counts. Each matchup is scored independently over 18 holes.
Settlement
Each matchup has its own wager. The static team could win 2 of 3 matchups and lose 1, resulting in a net positive. BirdieBet handles all the math automatically.
