Multi Low Score
Best Ball but take multiple scores
Multi Low Score is a flexible team format where teams decide before the round how many of their members' scores count on each hole. For example, in a team of 4, you might use the 2 lowest scores per hole. This creates a balance between individual performance and team strategy — you need consistent play from multiple teammates, not just one hot player. The team with the lowest combined total at the end wins.
Pro Tip
Adjust N to suit group size and skill balance — e.g., 1 of 4 makes the game more competitive, 2 of 4 rewards consistency across teammates.
Rules & Scoring
Choosing N
Before the round, teams agree on how many scores count per hole. In a group of 4, choosing 1 of 4 makes it more competitive (similar to Best Ball), while 2 of 4 or 3 of 4 rewards team-wide consistency.
Per-Hole Scoring
On each hole, every player completes the hole. The team then takes the N lowest scores among its members and adds those to the running team total.
Strategy
Since multiple scores can count, teams benefit when everyone plays solid rather than relying on a single standout. A team where all 4 players shoot bogey can beat a team where one player shoots birdie but the others triple bogey.
Handicaps
Individual handicap strokes are applied before selecting the low scores (optional, enable if your group wants handicaps), ensuring fairness for players of all skill levels.
